Have you wondered if you can ever be free of anxiety, worry, rumination?
-
Have you struggled with depression, discontent, loneliness?
-
Do you have difficult relationships at home or at work?
-
Maybe you have heard the term mindfulness and even thought about trying meditation, but you didn't know where to start?
In the wise words of Siddartha Gautama, "Pain is inevitable but suffering is optional." Mindful Ways is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping you stop suffering. We want to teach you how to be present in the inevitable painful moments and to let go before suffering makes itself too familiar. You can't experience happiness in the future, you can only hope for it. You can't experience it in the past, it's just a memory. What we have is this moment - the now. It's a precious gift we can learn to embrace without fear.
At Mindful Ways we teach the art of mindfulness as secular meditation. You will gain insight and the tools you need to build an on-going practice that helps you to free yourself to live in the now.
We also teach Buddhist Meditation as SHOUKEN BUKKYO, in addition we offer counseling and Buddhist services.
If you are depressed, you are living in the past.
If you are anxious, you are living in the future.
If you are at peace, you are living in the present.
Are you living in the NOW? -LaoTzu
